This project began with a simple brief: to create a new dining space and garden room. What followed was a bold and ambitious reimagining of the entire property — a transformative journey that elevated the home to a new level of contemporary design.

Working closely with the client, main contractor, and landscape architects, we developed a highly considered extension that seamlessly integrates architecture and outdoor space. The design features a striking combination of metal and timber cladding, expansive sliding doors to flood the interiors with natural light, and generous rooflights that bring a sense of openness and calm to the heart of the home.

The new dining space now connects effortlessly with the landscaped garden and a purpose-built outdoor office, creating a flowing sequence of spaces designed for modern living. Every detail — from material selection to spatial composition — was curated to reflect the client’s design aspirations while dramatically enhancing the functionality of the home.
